Ash is a 9 year senior who made her way to our home and hearts after her pregnant mother was rescued from Northern Ontario by a rescue organization. Upon meeting Ash for the first time, she did not hide her excitement for life, and was full of love and energy. Ash is both funny and grumpy with a personality that will make you laugh. She keeps a close eye on everything around her, often called “The Sheriff.” Ash has a special talent for sneaking away with dirty socks whenever the chance arises. Beneath her sass is a deeply loyal companion who has helped shape the spirit of Hayden’s Haven simply by being herself. Ash is a reminder that permanency matters – that every animal deserves a place where they are safe, understood and home for life.
Meet Ice 🧊
Husky / Staffordshire Terrier Mix
Ice was rescued at 8 months from a barn in Ontario after being left behind by her owner. What could have been an ending instead became the beginning of a new life – one that is filled with drive and vitality, play and belonging. When we saw Ice for the first time she simply jumped in the vehicle as if saying, “finally, I’m home.” At 7 years old, Ice is full of energy and enthusiasm, especially when a ball is involved. With her striking blue eyes, Ice has a way of capturing hearts almost instantly – long before she brings the ball back. She is a reminder of the resilience, spirit and incredible transformations that happen when animals are given safety and second chances.
Meet Rosie🐱
Calico Cat
Rosie, an absolute beauty cat who was rescued after being surrendered to the Human Society, brought to a pet store, and left behind to an unknown fate. She was rescued by our family without hesitation and welcomed into safety when she needed it the most. Despite everything she had been through, Rosie showed nothing but affection and trust from the very beginning. Gentle and loving, she learned to connect rather than fear, offerning her heart openly and reminding us how remarkable animals can be even after hardship. Rosie is a quiet testament to resilience, a proof that kindness, patience and love can still shine through, no matter the circumstance.
Meet Olive 🫒
Black Bombay Cat
At just 6 weeks old, Olive was adopted from a pet store and wasted no time making her presence known. From the start, her playful, funny and sassy personality filled the house with energy and laughter. A self-proclaimed “barn cat” in spirit, Olive insists on joining morning chores, happily following along every step (and getting in the way) before heading back inside when its time to settle for the night – or when she needs a snack. Olive balances independence with companionship in her own unique way, always nearby and always aware. With confidence and attitude, Olive’s personality is truly unmatched. She brings joy, movement and a little bit of mischief to every corner of the Haven.
Meet Tito

Tito’s rescue journey brought him all the way from Alberta to New Brunswick, where he found safety, consistency and a place to truly belong. At just 5 years old, Tito is full of beans and a little spice, always on the move and full of personality. Playful and curious, he thrives on being close to his people and is happiest when he’s right in the middle of everything. Incredibly trusting and affectionate, Tito has a habit of sneaking snacks whenever he can and is always nibbling his way into everyone’s hearts. His joyful spirit and constant need for connection make him impossible not to love.
